Tomten with jacquard

Belatedly posting this here -- you've probably already seen it on Ravelry or on my blog, but I think this page needed a fresh post for the new year! This is a Tomten sized for a 3- or 4-year-old, a Christmas present for my nephew. I took my lead from Franklin Habit and added some jacquard patterning to the shoulders.

All the details are on my blog! Oh, and Happy 2011 to all the Zimmermaniacs!

  • You wouldn't believe how pleased I was once I learned how to knit backwards! It makes short rows so easy, not having to turn back and forth! Give it a go next time you have a project like that. I've heard that some people who don't like purling do it all the time!
